Last night I heard the first peepers of the season. That means it really is spring and soon there will be leaves on the trees and all the smells that the season brings. The colors are starting to come alive and soon I'll be able to be out barefoot. Oh to be out and stand on Mother Earth with nothing between me and her, to feel her warmth and then to take a step and feel the coolness of the earth in a shady spot I can hardly wait and it won't be long I know.
I spent over an hour today looking for 2 craft books that I knew were in the room I was in but were nowhere to be found. I discovered other things that have been missing but no books. Brought at least 30 skeins of yarn into the other room to be brought up to the room that they belong in. I'm going to take the time to make an inventory of all of the whole skeins that I have so I won't go out and get more of a color that I already have in stock. Then I'm going to go through all of the other yarn that I have stored away and get a better inventory of what I have so I can make some decisions as to what I want to make with what I have. I shouldn't need to get any yarn for making small stuff for at least a year with all of Gram's and Aunt Jacky's yarn that I have. Today I've been working on a bookmark using size 10 thread, I have enough of that to make over 1000 bookmarks without even making a dent in it. So I need to stay off the computer for at least a day and get busy so I can get some stuff made to put in my shop.
The kids are coming up for the weekend and we are going to go hiking if the weather is good. So I won't get much done because I'll be busy visiting and playing dolls with my Rosie. Can't wait!!!!
Need to get back on my low carb diet just a few days off it and my fingers and legs are swollen and retaining fluids. Tomorrow I'm going to have steak and salad no carbs at all or anyway very few.
